Isn't it a relief knowing that you're not the only one who feels like you do?
For years I thought I was going crazy, that I was the only one who was falling apart on the inside while desperately trying to keep things together on the outside. I didn't I was suffering with anxiety because I really didn't know what anxiety was, and I definitely didn't know that there were others feeling the same way.
The thing was, everyone else looked like they had their shit together, and I sure as hell wasn't going to share my inner most secrets. . . that I was a compete mess, that I often cried buckets of tears for no apparent reason, and that I felt lost, alone, and never quite fit in.
